SHIPPING & DELIVERY

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most orders should arrive within 2 weeks of purchase. There are however some orders that will take longer to arrive, depending on the items purchased and the delivery address. All our items are listed with estimated shipping times, but if you have any questions relating to a particular item delivery time, please contact us.

Will all the items in my order be shipped together?

If the items you purchase are the same, then yes they will be delivered together. If you purchase different items they may arrive separately.

Why will my items arrive separately?

As we want you to enjoy your items as soon as possible, we will send the stock we have immediately available to ship. As some items are made to order they may take longer to arrive.

How much will delivery cost?

At Valuca we want you to have a seamless and simplified shopping experience and in most cases we will deliver the items to you free of charge. In some circumstances however, we may be unable to offer you free shipping. If this is the case you will be notified of the payable shipping costs.

Can I have my order delivered to a PO Box?

Only Moroccan Pouffes can be delivered to PO Boxes. Please provide a street address for all other purchases.

Can you deliver internationally?

No, at this time we can only deliver to addresses within Australia.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

Yes. If we are unable to deliver your order to your door due to it being in a remote location, then we will notify you of this via email to make an alternative collection point.

What happens if I’m not home when my order is delivered?

If you are not home when your order is delivered, the courier will leave a note with instructions for a re-delivery or alternatively you can sign an authority to leave the package at the door.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not take any responsibility for any items damaged or stolen after they have been delivered.

Will you provide me with a tracking number after I place my order?

Yes. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

What does "Pre Order" mean?

Although we do our very best to keep all items in stock, there are times when, due to the popularity of the item, we are awaiting a shipment. In this instance you may order the item in advance of its arrival. Every pre-order item will show the estimated arrival date, but please note that the date is indicative only as we cannot foresee any unexpected delays that may occur in the shipping process. 

If you are wanting an item and are contemplating waiting for stock to arrive rather than pre-ordering, please note that sometimes when stock arrives it is already sold out due to pre-orders. We highly recommend pre-ordering the item you are after to avoid missing out.

PRINTED COWHIDE RUGS

Are the Printed Cowhide rugs made with real cow leather?

No, printed rugs are made with Rubber Backed Fabric and, unlike real cowhides, this one is hypo-allergenic, washable, non-slip, and will not curl up at the edges.

Why do the Printed Cowhide rugs have longer estimated delivery times?

As these are made to order the delivery times are generally a bit longer.

MOROCCAN POUFFES

Are the Moroccan Pouffes sold filled?

Our Moroccan Pouffes are available both filled and unfilled, please see the listing page for all the available options. 

What do I fill the Moroccan Pouffe with?

There are various ways and fillings that can be used to stuff a Pouffe. We have tried a variety of methods and fillings, and by far the best one that we have come across is by using crumbed foam (Approx. 2.5kg) or bean bag filling (Approx. 65/70 litres).

How to fill a Moroccan Pouffe with Crumbed Foam:

  • Turn the Pouffe upside down.
  • Open the zip and fill the crumbed foam directly into the Pouffe.

How to fill a Moroccan Pouffe with Bean bag filling:

  • Beans required: 65/70 Litres, Bean Bag Liner: 1 (This can also be purchased from Valuca)
  • To fill the liner, you will need to open the opposite side and insert approximately half of the beans available.
  • Compress the beans and stretch the liner to make space for the rest of the beans.
  • Once all the beans are in the liner, tie a light knot to close, ensuring it is not too tight in case you need to add more beans.
  • Place the Pouffe on a chair, turn the Pouffe upside down and unzip it.
  • Gently feed the bean bag liner through the Pouffe opening.  Hold the closed liner straight up with one hand and push the beans inside using the other hand (the help of a second person may be required during this process).
  • Once all the beans are inside the Pouffe, close the zip and compress the Pouffe to make sure all the beans have filled all the area inside the Pouffe.

If you find that it is not firm enough, open the liner and add more beans, making sure not to apply too much pressure on the zip.
Once you have achieved the right firmness, place your new Moroccan Pouffe in your desired area, sit down, put your feet up, grab a magazine and relax.

The way in which you eventually choose to fill your Pouffe will depend on its use and the firmness required. These are a couple of suggestions, but please feel free to let us know what you have used that works and we will be happy to share.

Are the Moroccan Pouffes made with 100% genuine leather?

Yes. All of our Pouffes are made from only the finest 100% genuine leather.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the natural tanning process used to make authentic Moroccan Pouffes the leather will have a strong scent for the first few weeks. Rest assured that this is completely normal and will subside. Please feel free to ask any questions about this prior to your purchase.
